The Black Student Union (BSU) is dedicated to fostering Unity through community involvement, cultural activities, and academic excellence in the African American community at the University of Iowa. Our vision is to encourage retention and recruitment of African American students at the University of Iowa and to increase recognition of BSU on the University of Iowa Campus.
